Sequence

A community development display and sales space in Chongqing, China. The designer were inspired by the modern expression of traditional elements such as screens. It conveys the historical and cultural details with Chinese traditional introverted silence. The design interpret the classical element in a modern way, moreover, to inherit the culture in a humanistic way. In the small space, the elegant artistic conception of court gallery is displayed.

Zero Gravity

The villa creates an internal space where a person is given a special freedom of move and spatial experience. All the connections are short; there are no unnecessary rooms so you can live the entire space every day. Here is considered the sensory experience of human interaction with light, materials, and the atmosphere. Certain effect is created by lamps, which are expressive, both with and without light e.g. angel wings in living room are able to dematerialize, dissolving into space. Particular attention is paid to details with a clear drawing, balance between rounded forms and ration lines.

Guanlan Yipin

In this case, the spatial rhythm of Suzhou architecture and its garden experience are the responses of the design to the urban culture. The logic clue of Garden Tour runs through, relying on the Oriental context, and giving consideration to both practical function and spiritual care. The clear moving line and every step with a change of scene, conveying the designer's philosophical thinking on rationality and art. The decoration of green plants in the interior reflects the harmony between man and nature. The designer also expects it to be endowed with personal and social value.

Sky Green

A landmark green building in the heart of the humming Taichung downtown, this joint project between Golden Jade Development and WOHA Singapore illustrates the possibility of green, living buildings in modern urban environments. With flowing materials reflecting nature and bringing it into the public spaces, residents feel the soothing effects of nature the moment they step into the space. Featuring a massive art installation of a 9m wall-mounted field of mechanical lotus flowers called Heavenly Bloom, the residential lobby creates a bridge to nature.

Al Majlis

Al Majlis is a famous traditional Saudi restaurant, presenting the essence of typical sixties experience in Riyadh. The designer conceptual idea was to implement the traditional exterior urban fabric inside using shifting modules to create dynamic composition of masses and walkways. To achieve this experience while respecting the cultural aspects and complicated operational needs were the main design challenges. Earthy colors, traditional patterns, natural materials, rustic effects and real pre-owned accessories were used to fully immerse users in an authentic experience.

Xinhu Villa

This case is not only a house for living, but also a tasteful art gallery. The design team hopes to express natural aesthetics in a simple form and create a quiet atmosphere. They combine country house and modern space design, emphasizing a simple comfort. The space uses the fusion of curves and straight lines to present the temperament of the building itself. The back-to-virtual aesthetics integrated into the gray system highlights the interaction of the architectural sense of structure and light, giving the beauty a drama.
