White Box

In this case, the store takes an area of only 35 square meters. The front door is small, and the traditional display window is replaced by a horizontally long window with much white at the bottom. In this simple box-liked structure, white is massively used and the light beams are well designed to make the white-colored terrazzo floor more elegant. Designers built a mini loft to meet its functional purpose. The oak stairs, the footlights, and the light stripes are another ingenious designs to connect the space.

Land of Abundance

Based on the logic of Oriental aesthetics, the architect ponders contemporary design language, that is, more modern, more fashionable, more artistic, and more poetic Oriental language. The entrance, as the starting point of the artistic conception of the whole space, defines the temperament of the whole interior space. A transparent and lightsome door combines the unique poetry and art here, opening a poetic journey about historical inheritance, exquisite skills, and unique creativity for visitors.

Drinking tea requires both a favourable environment and a good mood. The designer presents the motif of cloud and mountain in the way of freehand ink painting, and sprinkles a pair of beautiful Chinese landscape paintings in the enclosed limited space. Through customized function carriers, the designer has created a sensory experience for the consumers, which brings huge sensual impact.

U Style

With the application of semi-void spatial and plane layout, the small space seems to be significantly enlarged. As the lines and planes overlap with each other, the stair steps endow the space with endless delights and interests. The design has also utilized the bay window, concealed the position for air-conditioner and perfectly connected the ground with the second floor. Here, the color and devices stand out under the perfect interaction between space and structure.

La Moitie

The name of the project La Moitie originates from the French translation of half , and the design aptly reflects this by the balance that has been struck between opposing elements: square and circle, light and dark. Given the limited space, the team sought to establish both a connection and a division between the two separate retail areas through the application of two opposing colors. While the boundary between the pink and black spaces is clear yet also blurred at different perspectives. A spiral staircase, half pink and half black, is positioned in the center of the store and provides.
