Nanjing Hexi Beauty

the design team chose to use an surprising method called the virtual space. the whole ceiling is made of stainless steel with the surface of mirror. images in mirror extend space in an endless way and break away from shackles of the building structure, letting the space drift away in a dynamic illusion, and project the rhythm of light and shadow.

Rebirth

The primitive ambiance of the indoor space is kept. Dismantle all the walls and bare the basic structure of concrete and brick walls naturally. The entrance is built with glass and iron pieces to visually extend the outdoor and indoor space. After the door is opened, there is a corridor paved in a special way with the wood pattern tiles to connect the front and backfields. Some plants are grown in the seams of the walls, which has the spirit of returning to nature and the metaphor for rebirth. The old warehouse is given a new life.

Meeting Future

Future seems to be anticipated through the pure color scheme and the futuristic streamline design. In such a traditional cultural city, imagination is broadened with the cutting-edge attitude and the innovative spatial setup, along with the functionality of the space as well as the nature and anticipation of the industrial park. The space with artistic rituals brings room for consideration while the immersed space design gives people an expectation of meeting the future self. Between the carefully structured space and the sophisticated grey-white color combination.

Realm of Transition

With aspired admiration for the spirit of endeavoring through unchartered water of the renowned explorer, Magellan, the client wished to have the design of this office space based on the medieval nautical styling for this. With an environmental conservation theme, many recycled pallets were used to create a ship cabin office in transcending the nautical theme into an actual environment. That working is no longer mundanity but a bold endeavor, as the overall design theme was anchored on the symbolism of ships where different parts of the ships amalgamate with various parts of the office.

Technology City

Designers run through the idea of coordination and integration of architecture and interior overall framework throughout this case, and establishes the overall design keynote of the project with innovative design concepts. The whole space is dominated by gray and black, which outline the sense of science and technology with the processing of line sequence, and render the sense of hierarchy with linear lighting. From the wide ladder into the second floor, the whole wall of book shelves appears with ordered array and momentum magnificent.
