New ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems remain visible as part of the interior. Bright, measured colour accents avoid monotony.

Ethereal

Ethereal is a hair salon interior located in Taipei. The space covers 133 square meters. Wood is used as the main material, and its solid character is combined with surrounding textures. Woodcraft elements and textures are rearranged to move away from the traditional image of a commercial hair salon. Curved and linear forms, ink-like gradations and natural scents create a calm atmosphere. The design is intended as an urban retreat where visitors can relax.
