Guiyang Zhongshuge has been a cultural feature and urban landmark in Guiyang city. In addition, it also bridges the gap of the cultural atmosphere in Guiyang.

The designer regards water elements as space theme and regards light as key design elements. Through the interaction between light and materials with different luminosity and transparency, combined with space devices with water element themes, space hierarchy and sense of light and motion unique to water elements are created.

They abstracted the shape of coconut trees to a symbol-palm leaf and built it in 4-meter-long, 8 different shapes by green plated, mirror polished stainless steel. They rearranged and planted 475 metal leaves purposely into the space, the entire restaurant turned into a beautiful installation art. They also designed water feature, lighting, tables to enhance people's resonance. By using single material, factory pre-make-install, the cost and construction time is well controlled.

Continue readingThe Strata Springscape beauty salon is surrounded by a world of strata and springs. The entire space is embedded with elements inspired by strata, soil, springs, and water streams. Fragments of strata and spring motifs can be seen dancing on the ceiling next to floating fountain-like mirrors. The walls are finished with blue gradations that resemble water streams reflected in a fountain, and with a texture evocative of stone gravel in a geological formation. This creates an environment full of diverse rhythms of shadows and reflections, thereby magnifying the joy of those who pass through it.
