Joy Hill

In the project of Vanke Joy Hill, Mdo wants to create a ceremonial community lounge that can trigger emotional resonance. This work is inspired by Dongguan's urban symbols. The hanging installation is inspired by the undulating silhouette of the roof of the Wok Ear House. Using bamboo as raw material. Based on the local intangible cultural heritage, Knitting Technique of Dongguan's Straw, the bamboo strips are rearranged, combined, and intertwined to form a rhythmic movement from the simple to the complex and manifest a uniquely artistic atmosphere in the space.

Qingdao Line 1

The design advocates strengthening the overall color impression of Line 1, boldly using colorful colors, poetic expressions and abstract artistic techniques to abstract the century-old Qingdao architecture, memory of industrial development, the four seasons of the city, waves, reefs, flowers and other elements. The presentation will sublimate and interpret the theme of the colorful Qingdao again, integrate the design of color and space, and elevate it to a higher artistic level, so that passengers can enjoy public art as the cultural welfare of citizens.

Golden Jade Headquarters

The office is located in the central of modern city but surrounded by the natural green. Elements such as sunshine, greenery and stream were regarded as inspiration. Based on the concept of sharing, the idea of design was strung together with full-openness, privacy, and anti-interference. White terrazzo floor was applied as a drawing paper to carry the lives and designs, and black mirror imitated the water surface to open up the definition of the visual space. The stairs were decorated as floating islands and contour lines, inviting the visitors to reach each floor and space.

Borromei Loft

The challenge of this project was to be able to re-propose the succession of secret spaces typical of Milan's historic canter, going beyond the ancient building structure through a contemporary design that would guarantee a new atmosphere. Being able to ensure adequate natural lighting for all spaces was only possible by creating wings and new openings that would allow the light filters through the large skylight in the living area to reach the most private spaces.

Rock Fire Praise

Themed with Rock Fire Praise, this barbecue restaurant, through its red and black color scheme and powerful structure layout, reproduces the scenes of human ancestors making a fire and roasting meat recorded 12,000 years ago in the Altamira caves, Iberian Peninsula. This, coupled with Japanese style soft furnishings and natural building materials, demonstrates the Japanese culinary pursuit of the original beauty of food ingredients as well as the brand concept carnivorous justice, and provides customers with a comfortable dining environment.

Smritivan

Smritivan, India's largest memorial museum is a living testament to human resilience and constant change. An experiential journey along the learnings and memories of the devastating 2001 Gujarat earthquake. Rooted in interpretation and experimentation, over 100 exhibits in 7 thematic blocks are presented as a confluence of local crafts in contemporary design language. Layered experiences from educational scientific content to sensitive personal stories create a memorable impression. Diverse exhibits, immersive environments, and archival memories engage and inspire all visitor age groups.
